Closing Out September
I can't believe it's October already! It's actually feeling like fall in Charleston!
Recently Joey’s beard was out of control! He declared he was not shaving it until we won a huge contract at work. Well, we finally did! So, Joey told everyone at work that if they donated to Fisher House Foundation their name would be thrown into the hat to shave his beard however they want in the middle of the office! They raised $600+ and Joey matched it! So we donated over $1200 to Fisher House Foundation to help veterans and their families.
Jude, of course, came to the office to see the event!
Don't worry, Joey has since cleaned up his hair and beard!
That weekend we went to Columbia to have lunch and visit with Mom, The Evans, and The Taylors. Jude and his cousin Jack were very excited to hang out! It’s so awesome that we have little ones just a couple months apart that can grow up together!
Jude is moving around a ton now even though he’s not crawling. He actually scoots backwards everywhere so we call it moon crawling! He moon crawled from his activity mat to behind the couch to practice his planking the other night! He planks a lot and puts his bootie in the air! We think he’ll be crawling before we know it and we need to get the house Jude proof ASAP!
Jude’s daycare is right next door to our office (Joey and I work at the same place) which is so awesome for drop off and pick up, but also because we can go grab him whenever we want and bring him over to the office to show him off!
We also love that his teachers at daycare will share cute pictures with us!
This guy!💙
Always fun when Aunt Rissa stays with us when she has a training in Charleston!
It was a big week of visits! Jude and Hillary took a trip to Columbia Friday to have lunch with Mom (Jean) and visit Nana and Papa! He was very excited to meet his Great Grandparents!
Whew! That was a busy few weeks! Hope everyone is doing well!
Love, Jude
